Position: Physical Therapy Assistant

Hours: will consider Consistent PRN and Part time candidates

NO weekends or evenings or holidays

Setting: Assisted and Independent Living Community

Location: The Gardens, Springfield MO

With an outpatient therapy career in an assisted living or independent living community, you get the best of both worlds: the chance to improve the lives of seniors by meeting them where they live while maintaining greater flexibility in your schedule. You’ll have a smaller caseload than when working in other settings, so you’ll truly get to focus on helping people succeed. You’ll also get to flex your business skills by helping market the clinic, doing your own scheduling and working independently.

You’ll only treat residents Monday-Friday – no evenings or weekends! Plus, you’ll treat residents in their room or in an on-site clinic so there’s no need to travel to homes outside the building. QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate from a Physical Therapy Assistant program

• Current licensure as Physical Therapy Assistant or ability to obtain in state of practice and/or nationally certified

• Previous experience in outpatient, preferred

• Current CPR certification, if practicing in home health
